If I Were an Ant ...

Ants. Love 'em or hate 'em, they are amazingly designed. The kids learned that ants are small, but mighty! They can carry 20 times their body weight. That's a lot by human standards because if you weigh 100 lbs, you would be able to lift 2,000 lbs! And they have two stomachs! Proverbs talks about what we can learn from ants by working together, Zechariah encourages us not to despise small beginnings, and I Timothy encourages those who are young to not think less of how God can use them just because they are young. We have some pretty amazing kids who bless us with their trust and belief in Jesus. As one of them said, to God we must look like ants because He is so BIG! Yet in His love for us, He doesn't squish us. Instead, He helps us be mighty!
